SAFETY RECALL OF CEILING FANS

Problem: The blade brackets can break and allow the fan blade to fall. Six incidents of falling blades have been reported.

Models: Emerson 60-Inch Designer Ceiling Fans;

CF760WB (weathered bronze); CF760PW (pewter); CF760AB (antique brass); CF760WW (appliance white); CF760AW (summer white); CF760ORB (oil rubbed bronze); CF760BS (brushed steel)

Date: Sold from May 2005 – September 2006.

Action: How to determine whether your fan(s) are affected by this notice:

(1) Examine switch housing for Emerson Logo (see picture).

(2) Examine the label on the top of the fan housing (see picture).

(3) Does the label on the fan housing have one of the model numbers listed above?

(4) If so, STOP USE of the fan. If the label on the fan housing does not contain one of the model numbers listed above, your fan is not affected by this notice.

Solution: Call Toll Free for a voucher for a free Emerson replacement fan of comparable value.
